Tick Tock. Martin’s Political Clock.

He won’t like to admit it but time is rapidly running out for Mr Martin in government. Leo within a year, is on course to take over at the top.
.
Meanwhile, the ‘rock’ that has previously helped FF to gain past government office in the 30s and 50s, will be the same rock that will continue to big time help sink them. That ‘rock’ is “Housing”.
.
Mr Martin has now months rather than years to try PR his way back into the ‘good books’ of floating voters. He now has months rather than years to announce a state social housing project that’s urgently needed, the likes of we have not seen before. He won’t announce such a thing however, as FF and FG don’t have it on their list of political agendas.
.
They are too busy, for example, chipping away at departments, turning their staff and functions over to private companies. All part of the TTIP/CETA silent agenda still being pursued but not deliberately mentioned by biased media that still stupidly supports their party. One agenda the public are not allowed a vote on but are getting rammed down their throats.
.
With just months rather than years left, to try flip voters back to his party, realistically no amount of PR tried on is likely to have the plummeting FF ratings rise dramatically – enough so that they can next government formation time, be a force to be reckoned and thus, bargained with!
.
After Mr Martin steps down from the Taoiseach position, unless he also steps down as party leader its likely he will face a party leadership challenge. Behind closed doors of FF ranks, the knives are being sharpened already should he try to hang on as party leader and its suspected he knows this.
.
It was hoped for a time FF would gain a ‘Covid bounce’ as things appeared to improve. However, the continuous disasters around this issue alone has produced none. For example, been seen to waste a year into a Covid era before even starting to start planing a vaccination program, all the while other countries had started such planning three months in, has been one major cock-up of many with a FF fronted 2020 government.
.
There has been over 60+ other scandals since entering the current term of government including uncovered greed, private antics and mega mistakes – besides their much continuing, in government own law breaking (while double standard telling others to obey laws) which as not much helped either.
.
An up to date, more daily informed social media population has all been too away of this and more. The overall outlook is that Fianna Fail is on a titanic disaster course. One that is now too late to stear away from. There lies disastrous rocks ahead and housing is just one of them.
